About the Project
The National WWII Museum provides a range of curricula and resources for K-12 educators on teaching World War II. The Museum faces challenges, however, in getting this curriculum in the hands of teachers as well as training teachers on how to use these resources to teach about World War II in the classroom. Offering self-paced, free online courses helps to address these challenges and also provide teachers with required professional development hours for their schools and districts.
I have designed and facilitated multiple online courses for The National WWII Museum. These online courses include brief lectures from subject matter experts at the Museum, produced videos of teachers modeling how to use Museum resources in the classroom, self-check quizzes created with Storyline 360, discussion boards, and various assignments.
